After the fabrication of steel structure parts, the size and shape of components shall be inspected according to the requirements of design drawings and relevant standards and specifications.During the manufacturing process of steel components, the steel structure parts whose allowable deviation meets the requirements shall be derusted and coated according to the design requirements. The qualified steel structure parts shall be provided with appropriate packaging measures, and the product quantity, project number, transportation location, etc. shall be marked on the tag, so as to better cooperate with the loading, unloading, transportation and placing of steel structure at the installation site.

       1、 Small parts and spare parts (generally refers to the installation bolts, washers, connecting plates, joint angle steel, etc.) in steel structure products shall be packed in boxes or bundled with packing list.The box number, gross weight, net weight, component name and number shall be marked on the box.

      2、 The box of wooden box shall be firm and rainproof, and there shall be sleeper with forklift hole under it, which can bear the total weight of the box. Both ends of the sleeper shall be cut into inclined planes for bundling and hoisting or transportation. The weight shall not be greater than 1t.

      3、 The iron box is generally used in foreign projects. The box body is welded with steel plate, which is not easy to loose. In the installation site, the steel plate of the box can be used as the installation base plate and temporary fixing parts, and the shell of the box should be welded with lifting lug.

      4、 Strapping is generally used to transport the slender components with close distance, such as the members of grid structure and the brace of roof truss.The weight of each bundle should not be too large, and the spreader should not be directly tied to the wire. 

      5、 If the steel structure products are installed immediately after fabrication, the small parts and spare parts can be directly strapped on the required parts of the main body of the steel structure without packing, but they should be firmly strapped or fixed with bolts, and the transportation and installation will not be affected.

      6、 The packaging shall be carried out after the coating is dried. The packaging shall protect the component coating from damage and ensure that the components and parts are not deformed, damaged or lost.
