Hangar party to commemorate the locals of Presidential Helicopter Pilot Bowling Green

Bowling Green, Kentucky (WBKO)-Hanging out at the airport usually involves overpriced food and souvenir shops, and hope that your flight will not be delayed.
The Aviation Heritage Park’s annual hangar party will be held at the Bowling Green/Warren County Regional Airport on Saturday, August 28 at 5 pm.
The event will pay tribute to Colonel Arthur (Mac) Reynolds, a native of Bowling Green. Colonel Reynolds was assigned to HMX-1 in 1999 and holds the title of Presidential Helicopter Pilot, serving President Reagan, President George W. Bush and President Clinton, and Vice President George HW Bush. Colonel Reynolds attended Porter Gray School and graduated from Bowling Green High School in 1969. He passed away in 2018, and his brother and others who knew him will attend to commemorate his memory and military service.
Buy tickets for the hangar party here or at Ford’s Furniture, Nat’s Outdoor Sports, Chuck’s Wine & Spirits on Sanquan Road, and Barbara Stewart Interiors.
